Public Information Seminars on Surgical Weight Loss announced for 2007. 

The New Hampshire Medical and Surgical Weight Loss Center will hold public information sessions in Derry and Portsmouth, NH, throughout the year.  Attendance at a session is the first step in participating in a surgical weight loss program at either Portsmouth Regional Hospital or Parkland Medical Center.  Attendees learn about the various surgical weight loss option is available to them, and are given information to help decide if surgery is their best course of action.  After an informative lecture and slide show which is given by the surgeons, a question and answer period allows participants to question members of the bariatric team, including the surgeons, the program psychologist, program coordinator, nutrition specialists, etc.

Programs will be held in Portsmouth at 6:30 pm at the Frank Jones Center on January 17, April l9, June 26, and October 18.
